On April 09, 2023, Isuzu Vietnam cooperated with Isuzu An Viet to successfully organize Eco-drive seminar Safety Driving – Fuel Saving and Daily Vehicle Inspection – Maintenance training for the Center of Transporting and Warehousing in Da Nang City (VNPost)
The program took place with the participation of the Board of Directors and more than 40 drivers from Center of Transporting and Warehousing, which confirmed the practicality of the program and VNPost’s special attention to safety and savings when operating a vehicle in this time.
Vietnam POST is a big fleet customer of Isuzu Vietnam, and currently owns more than 900 Isuzu trucks serving the postal service. This is the third program (after Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh) in the training chain from Isuzu Vietnam to Vietnam Post’s major hubs nationwide.
Speaking at the program’s opening, the Director of the Center of Transporting and Warehousing in Da Nang City – Mr. Vo Thanh Long said that the Eco-drive seminar helps complement and expand the knowledge of Isuzu operation and maintenance for Vietnam Post’s Management team and Drivers. Through this program, Isuzu fulfills its responsibility to not only Isuzu’s products and users but also the community and the environment. He is convinced that the Eco-drive seminar is very suitable for Vietnam Post’s development orientation. The driver will apply this knowledge in daily practice and in the annual Safe Driving competition organized by the Center of Transporting and Warehousing in Da Nang City.
Through the seminar, with the guidance of trainers from Isuzu Vietnam and An Viet Dealer, the trainees participated in 03 main contents as follows:
- Guide to Eco & Safety Driving skill (Theory & Practice)
- Instructions for daily vehicle inspection and maintenance (Theory and practice)
- Q&A Section
Drivers enthusiastically participated in the driving practice in two ways: normal driving according to daily practice and fuel-efficient driving according to the skills trained by Isuzu Vietnam. The results of driving by two methods show that the operating skills of Vietnam Post’s drivers are very good. However, if operated according to instructions from Isuzu Vietnam, Vietnam Post can save up to 4% of fuel consumption compared to the current one.
Participants received certificates and awards from Isuzu Vietnam and Isuzu An Viet.
Isuzu Vietnam hopes that the Eco-drive seminar will contribute to helping customers improve the efficiency of using the product. At the same time, affirming Isuzu Vietnam’s commitment to always accompany customers in every journey.
