On Mar 06-12, 2024, Isuzu Vietnam Co., Ltd. (IVC), in conjunction Isuzu Motors Limited (IML) and Hiep Hoa Specialized Automobile JSC, organized the program “Research and learn experiences in waste collection and treatment models, visit Specialized equipment manufacturing companies & Isuzu Fujisawa Plant in Japan” with the participation of over 20 business customers operating in the environmental segment in all regions of Vietnam.
During the program, customers had the opportunity to visit and learn about the following destinations:
1. Hiroshima Central Eco Park Waste Treatment Complex, Hiroshima province, Japan
Customers were introduced to an overview of the Complex’s household waste treatment system. It is a treatment line with a capacity of 285 tons/day, ensuring the criteria of emissions, odor, wastewater… An important part of its waste treatment is recycling waste into products such as metals (slag, zinc, copper), collecting and generating electricity, etc.

2. Specialized Equipment Manufacturing Companies
Customers visited and learned about 02 manufacturing companies. ShinMaywa Hiroshima Factory, Japan (specializing in the production of specialized vehicles related to the environmental industry such as Garbage trucks, Hooklift trucks, Sewage trucks, etc.); Furukawa Unic Sakura Factory, in Chiba province (specializing in manufacturing Cranes and Aerial Platforms).
3. Isuzu Fujisawa Plant
Especially, customers also had the opportunity to visit Isuzu Fujisawa Plant. This is IML’s main plant, specializing in the production and assembly of automobiles, supplying for the domestic market and exporting to over 130 countries worldwide.
At Isuzu Fujisawa, customers not only visited the automobile manufacturing plant with an area of over 1,000,000 m2 but also witnessed firsthand the automated assembly lines, with the quality is checked at each stage by skilled engineers and highly skilled workers.
With a sustainable development orientation based on the ESG foundation (Environment – Society – Governance), Isuzu provides high-quality vehicle products suitable for various specialized vehicle types in the environmental industry along with quality after-sales services.
Isuzu’s commitment is demonstrated through our participation in conferences/seminars of the Urban Environment and Industrial Zone Association in various regions nationwide. At the same time, we also organize field trips to provide experiences and knowledge for businesses in the environmental sector.
