An opportunity for connection and management practice sharing
The visit was part of a series of international exchange activities among AOTS alumni business communities worldwide, aiming to enhance management awareness, exchange experiences, and update practical knowledge in the manufacturing sector – particularly in Vietnam’s automotive industry.
At ISUZU Vietnam’s factory, the 25-member delegation was given an in-depth introduction to the commercial vehicle assembly line, quality management system, and widespread Kaizen initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency.
Sri Lankan delegation directly toured the assembly line at ISUZU Vietnam’s factory.
Deep interest in Kaizen – The foundation of sustainable improvement
The delegation expressed strong interest in the Kaizen method – a philosophy of continuous improvement that ISUZU Vietnam applies throughout its production and operations. Discussions focused on questions such as:
- How does the company encourage employees to proactively engage in improvement initiatives?
- What is the process for implementing a Kaizen idea?
- How does the company evaluate and sustain improvement effectiveness in the long term?
Honest and detailed insights shared by ISUZU Vietnam representatives helped the delegation gain a deeper understanding of how the company cultivates a culture of improvement alongside human resource development and product quality enhancement.
Foster connections – Spreading the value of sustainable development
The visit took place in a professional, friendly, and open atmosphere – embodying the spirit of international cooperation that ISUZU Vietnam consistently strives for. The event not only provided practical value in knowledge sharing but also helped foster trade connections and promote modern management thinking in the region.
