On August 6, 2026, representatives of ISUZU Vietnam Co., Ltd. (“ISUZU Vietnam”) presented VND 100 million in scholarship support to children at SOS Children’s Village Go Vap – Ho Chi Minh City (the “Village”). The activity was carried out under the ISUZU Heart & Smile community program, an annual ISUZU initiative aimed at supporting children in vulnerable circumstances and contributing to local communities.
According to representatives of SOS Children’s Village Go Vap – Ho Chi Minh City, the Village currently cares for nearly 200 children in vulnerable circumstances who are without parental care. While its operating funds remain limited and rely largely on financial assistance, the Village’s staff continue to work to maintain the conditions necessary for the children’s daily living, education, and development.
During the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van An, Deputy Director of the Village, shared information about the Village’s work in caring for, nurturing, and educating children without parental care, as well as the practical support needed to create better conditions for their future development.

During the program, Mr. Wataru Nakano, General Director of ISUZU Vietnam, presented VND 100 million in scholarship support to the children at the Village on behalf of the company. He stated that ISUZU Vietnam expects the contribution to help the children continue their education, develop themselves, and build a stronger foundation for the future.

As part of the program, Vi Lam Thanh Binh, representing the children at SOS Children’s Village Go Vap – Ho Chi Minh City, presented ISUZU Vietnam with a painting created by Binh. The painting was given as a commemorative gift on the occasion of ISUZU Vietnam’s visit and the implementation of the educational support activity at the Village.

Following the scholarship presentation, representatives of ISUZU Vietnam toured the Village and spoke with its staff about the children’s care, daily living conditions, and education. These direct discussions gave the company a clearer understanding of the Village’s circumstances and practical support needs.
