ISUZU VIETNAM ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE RECALL PROGRAM FOR D-MAX AND mu-X

Isuzu Vietnam announces the implementation of the “D-MAX & mu-X VEHICLE RECALL PROGRAM” to check the tightening torque for the steering shaft bolt. The program is officially implemented by Isuzu Vietnam from May 5, 2023, at all Isuzu Dealers nationwide.

In order to check and correct errors during the assembly process at Isuzu Thailand for some products of D-MAX & mu-X vehicles that may not have tightened the correct force according to the design standards for the steering shaft bolts, Isuzu Vietnam implemented a recall program for 372 D-MAX & mu-X vehicles. To implement this program, Isuzu Vietnam has reported to the Vietnam Register and has been approved by the Vietnam Register in Notice No. 1740/ĐKVN-VAQ dated May 15, 2023. Accordingly, Isuzu Vietnam dealers nationwide will actively contact affected customers to inform them about this program and invite customers to bring their vehicles to the nearest dealer for inspection and repair. Isuzu Vietnam and the authorized Dealer system will check and fix all related defective vehicles free of charge.

The implementation of this Program once again demonstrates Isuzu Vietnam’s responsibility for the safety of customers – who have always loved and trusted Isuzu products.

Isuzu Vietnam would like to recommend to all customers to arrange to bring their vehicles to the nationwide Isuzu Dealer network to be checked and repaired soon, ensuring the vehicle’s stable operation and preventing possible damage.
