On October 2, 2024, Isuzu Vietnam awarded 40 scholarships with a total value of 400 million VND from the “Mutual Growth with Isuzu Vietnam” Scholarship Fund to students who have achieved many outstanding achievements in studying and researching in the2024–2025 school year at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, according to the Memorandum of Understanding between the two parties since 2023.

Isuzu Vietnam hopes to accompany, encourage, and supporting their efforts for academic education and nurture their dreams for the future. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dinh Xuan Tan – Deputy General Director of Isuzu Vietnam said that with the new ISUZU ID Corporate Philosophy and Isuzu Motors Limited’s focus on Sustainable Development, Isuzu Vietnam was committed to its social responsibility. In addition to providing scholarships, Isuzu Vietnam also organized various factory tours to introduce and provide career orientation for students from universities and training institutions in Ho Chi Minh City. This aimed to bridge the gap between theory and practice and to strengthen the connection between businesses and educational institutions.
“In the global trend of sustainable development, and for Isuzu particularly, our current contributions—especially to the younger generation—may not be large, but I hope they serve as a source of motivation and encouragement for both teachers and students. I hope that you will continue to uphold the spirit and enthusiasm of youth as you pursue your studies and future careers”, said Mr. Dinh Xuan Tan.

The university representative expressed deep gratitude to Isuzu Vietnam and expressed a desire for continued support, cooperation, and knowledge-sharing in the field of Automotive Engineering. They hope for further collaboration between the university’s lecturers and Isuzu Vietnam’s experts to enhance the training program, making it more practical and aligned with real-world applications for the students.

At the end of the ceremony, student Dinh Duy Khoa, representing the 40 scholarship recipients, expressed heartfelt gratitude and respectfully handed over letters of sincere thanks to Isuzu Vietnam. These letters were prepared by the students who received the Mutual Growth with Isuzu Vietnam scholarships for the 2024–2025 academic year.
