III. Job Description

1. Develop plans and equipment for first aid, emergency care, essential medicines, and emergency response to workplace accidents; organize first aid and emergency care training for workers at the facility.

2. Develop and organize health check-ups, occupational disease screenings, medical assessments to determine the degree of disability resulting from workplace accidents and occupational diseases, rehabilitation and work recovery, and provide advice on measures to prevent and control occupational diseases; propose and assign jobs suitable to the health of workers.

3. Organize routine medical examinations and treatment at the facility, and provide first aid and emergency care to victims of workplace accidents and technical incidents causing occupational safety and health hazards, in accordance with regulations.

4. Disseminate information on occupational hygiene, prevention and control of occupational diseases, and health promotion in the workplace. Inspect compliance with hygiene regulations, organize disease prevention and control, ensure food safety and hygiene for workers at the facility; organize the provision of in-kind benefits as prescribed.

5. Establish and manage information on hygiene and labor practices at the workplace; organize workplace environmental monitoring to assess harmful factors; manage employee health records and health records of those with occupational diseases (if any).

6. Coordinate with the occupational safety and hygiene department to perform related tasks.

7. Supervise the safety and hygiene of the canteen and food safety: follow the instructions and requirements of relevant authorities, and retain food samples.

8. Develop an annual health budget, monitor and control medical expenses.

9. Establish a medicine cabinet and provide healthcare facilities for workers, and monitor the dispensing of medications.

10. Maintain the medical equipment handed over for use.

11. Perform other tasks assigned by the direct manager.

 

IV. Job Requirements

1. Graduated from a vocational secondary school or college in Physician; preference given to candidates with a certificate in occupational health.

2. Basic English proficiency is an advantage.

3. Solid professional knowledge to meet on-site medical service requirements.

4. Good health, strong sense of responsibility, careful and meticulous.

5. Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
