Continuing the Isuzu Heart & Smile community projects, Isuzu Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Isuzu Vietnam) partners with the Gò Vấp District People’s Committee to implement the Social Security Program for households in Wards 1, 8, and 12 of Gò Vấp District.
The People’s Committee’s Social Security Program is a meaningful humanitarian activity, reflecting the spirit of solidarity and mutual support to help and encourage social policy families and disadvantaged families in the area.
On the morning of October 10, 2024, Isuzu Vietnam participated in a ceremony to meet and present supports to households under this program. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Đinh Xuân Tân, Deputy General Director of Isuzu Vietnam, stated that with the new ISUZU ID Corporate Philosophy and Isuzu Motors Limited’s focus on Sustainability, Isuzu Vietnam will continue maintaining activities for human resource development, support for shelters, and households in the area. Mr. Tân expressed hope that these meaningful programs would expand with participation from other businesses, alongside Isuzu Vietnam, to contribute more to the community.

Specifically, Isuzu Vietnam provided funding for the repair of one house for a social policy family, two charity houses, 156 health insurance cards, four savings books, and four bicycles for families in difficult circumstances, with a total value of over 350 million VND.
On behalf of the local leaders, Ms. Đào Thị My Thư, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Gò Vấp District, sent a thank you letter to the Board of Directors and employees of Isuzu Vietnam for their support in taking care of the community, and she hoped that the company would continue meaningful support activities for social security in the district in the future.

On the same morning, representatives of Isuzu Vietnam and district and ward leaders attended the handover ceremony for the house repair project for a family in the area whose house needed repairs.
As part of the Social Security Program activities, participating in the movement “Joining Hands to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses” in Gò Vấp District, Isuzu Vietnam supported the repair and waterproofing of one family and handed over on October 22, 2024. Isuzu hopes this repaired house will provide a more stable and secure living space for the family, especially during the rainy season in Ho Chi Minh City.
