On April 23, 2023, Isuzu Vietnam cooperated with Isuzu An Khanh to successfully organize Eco-drive seminar, Safety Driving – Fuel Saving and Daily Vehicle Inspection – Maintenance training for GEMADEPT Logistics in Can Tho City.
The program took place with the participation of more than 40 drivers and GEMADEPT’s management, which confirmed the practicality of the program and GEMADEPT’s special attention to safety and savings when operating a vehicle at this time.
GEMADEPT is a big fleet customer of Isuzu Vietnam, and currently owns about 70 Isuzu trucks serving road transportation.
Speaking at the opening of the program, the Vehicle Assistant Manager of GEMADEPT Logistics – Mr. Pham Ngoc Dung said that Eco-drive seminar of Isuzu is extremely practical, assisting GEMADEPT’s Management team and Drivers in consolidating and improving expertise on the operation and maintenance of Isuzu vehicles. GEMADEPT is grateful to Isuzu Vietnam and Isuzu An Khanh for organizing this training course.
Through the seminar, with the guidance of technicians from Isuzu An Khanh, the trainees participated in 03 main contents as follows:
- Guide to Eco & Safety Driving skill (Theory & Practice)
- Instructions for daily vehicle inspection and maintenance (Theory and practice)
- Health Report Explanation; Q&A Section
Drivers enthusiastically participated in the driving practice in two ways: normal driving according to daily practice and fuel-efficient driving according to the skills trained by Isuzu Vietnam. The results of driving by two methods show that the operating skills of GEMADEPT’s drivers are good. However, if operated according to instructions from Isuzu Vietnam, GEMADEPT can save up to 25% of fuel consumption compared to the current one.
Participants received certificates and awards from Isuzu Vietnam and Isuzu An Khanh.
