On July 20, 2012, the final round of The 9^th Isuzu Technical Skill Contest 2012 has achieved a great deal of success with the participation of more than 40 brilliant Contestants from all of Isuzu Dealers nationwide.

The contestants were divided into three sections: Service advisor, Technician & Spare Part. All contests included two parts: writing test & practice test. Facing with those challenges, all contestants were very well-prepared with the highest detemination and concentration.

In the Technician section, tested contents includes knowledge of products; environment sanitary; emission standard; register regulations; common technical problems of engine, ground, electric system, air condition in Isuzu vehicle such as N&F series trucks, Hi-Lander, D-max. The criteria of evaluating a technician are warranting quality, being on time and safety.

Technician is one of the most challenging sections of the contest. Each contestant must not only keep track of a strict schedule but also execute with very high-level skills. Every contestant’s practical performance was fully observed and evaluated by expert examiners. In order to overcome all the testing section, it is required not only brilliant competences but also stable comprehension.

In Service Advisor Section; beside abilities of excelling evaluate equipments and analyzing common problems of engine, ground, air condition, after that suggesting resolutions; the contestants were also tested by several practical situations. Those were really difficult obstacles for contestants to solve these situations well. A Service Advisor has to keep a very good manner, persuading ability & building belief of customers in Isuzu services as well.

In Spare Part Section, the tested contents included knowledge of truck & pick up spare part in order to satisfy all customer requests. IVC spare part management system is based on online system, so that in this section, contestants have to manipulate on computer & order system.

1st prize : Mr. Nguyen Van Doanh (Thang Long Dealer)

2nd prize : Mr.Dang Sy Nho (T&S Dealer)

3rd prize : Mr.Huynh Van Tuan Thanh (Mai Linh Dealer)

Service Advisor section

1st prize : Mr. Tran Thanh Phong (An Khanh Dealer)

2nd prize : Mr.Nham Van Huu (T&S Dealer)

3rd prize : Mr.Nguyen Van The (Mai Linh Dealer)

Spare Part Skill section

2nd position : Mr. Nguyen Sy Duong (T&S dealer)

3rd position : Mr. Tran Tan Hong (Mai Linh Dealer)

Concerning “The best team” prizes, the first prize belonged to T&S Dealer, the second prize belonged to Nisu Dealer & Mai Linh Dealer achieved the third one. All of the contestants from these Dealers got very high scores with the best performance in the whole Contest.

The Isuzu Technical Skill Contest 2012 gave chances for Contestants to express their technical knowledge and ability to solve the problem, communicate with customers. They themselves are the ones who bring Isuzu closer to customers, as the motto ” Isuzu – always besides you”. This Contest also express the trust and thanks of Isuzu Vietnam on technicians, service advisors and spare part staff from Dealer nationwide who has been contributing to the success of Isuzu Vietnam.

The great success of the Isuzu Skill Contest this year has proved the profession in organizing the event as well as non-stop effort of Isuzu Vietnam in changing and improve the content of the Contest which is more various and practical year by year in order to give Isuzu staff more experiences  and improve their skills so that they can bring the best service to Isuzu customers.
